Like any long distant journey, staying on track is essential. Veer off in the wrong direction and before any time at all, you’re miles from where you need to be.

Identify somebody you can trust to provide you feedback – honest feedback – and drip feed them “sample copy” – just a few pages. Is it any good? Too much detail? Not enough detail? Simply not very interesting? DEMAND they tell you “their” truth. Then get a second opinion.

Far better to correct early than continue to meander, further and further from your desired destination.
