What I like to write about? People.

Successful people.

Interesting people. Sports people. Business people. Passionate people. Families.

Everybody has a story to tell. With the possible exception it seems, of reality TV “stars”. For the most part, they’re just plain annoying.

Years ago, an old mentor impressed upon me: “If you think somebody is boring, you probably just haven’t asked them enough questions”.

I’m still not sure that 100% correct – there’s been times when I’ve done an awful lot of digging and only discovered dirt and dust – certainly no diamonds. But I take his point. Another way of looking at it – if you want a better answer, ask a better question.

Seriously, humans are interesting, no matter how misguided at times their endeavor might appear through the lens of another person. Through our lens.

Of particular interest – families – what shapes them, what drives them, what defines them. How do some who start out with nothing, go onto achieve great things. Even build an empire.

Repeating, everybody has their own story.

Does your family story need telling? Maybe I can help. Go to Family. Maybe you want to write it yourself? If so, I’d encourage you to do so. The DYI tab might provide a few useful pointers.
