At the risk of contradicting what I’ve just said…. routine can be powerful.

Three-four-five days a week, starting “work” at the exact same time, in the same spot (or at least a “happy” spot), armed with coffee and music and water – and not moving until a designated time – for more coffee, or lunch, or until a word target has been reached. Or a “section” completed.

Of course, as above, if you’re really spinning your wheels, take a break or make a change.

Just don’t concede defeat instantly. It could become habit.
